Other
No, CDK9 Raw pet food should not be cooked. Our food is formulated to be served raw to ensure your pet receives optimal nutrition.
Cooking the food may compromise its nutritional value and the integrity of important components such as bone, which could become brittle and potentially harmful if ingested by your pet.
We recommend a gradual transition over 2 weeks when introducing CDK9 Raw food to your pet's diet.
This gradual transition helps minimise the potential for stomach upsets that can occur with sudden dietary changes.
While some pets may adapt well to a quick change in diet, it's best to caution and slowly introduce the new food to ensure a smooth transition for your pet's digestive system.
While it's not our formal recommendation, many pet owners have reported success mixing kibble with Raw food without any issues.
While mixing different types of food may not cause problems for some pets, it's essential to monitor your pet's digestion and adjust the ratio of kibble to raw food accordingly.

Frozen vs. Fresh Pet Food
While both options provide high-quality nutrition, frozen pet food is preserved by freezing immediately after preparation, locking in freshness and nutrients, whereas fresh pet food is refrigerated and has a shorter shelf life.
Our Frozen range is also conveniently portioned packed and available on Express Delivery.
Frozen pet food offers extended shelf life, convenient storage, and easy portioning, reducing waste and ensuring freshness with each serving, making it a convenient option for pet owners.
Yes, frozen pet food retains its nutritional value and freshness, providing essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals to support your pet's well-being, just like fresh pet food.
While some pets may enjoy frozen pet food as a treat, it's generally recommended to thaw it before serving for easy digestion and optimal palatability. Avoid leaving frozen pet food at room temperature for extended periods to prevent spoilage.
Raw Food Storage
Frozen pet food should be stored in the freezer below 0°F (-18°C) to maintain freshness. Thaw in the refrigerator. Wash hands, utensils, and bowls after handling to prevent contamination.
